How planned gifts help

Planned gifts, whether through a bequest or other option, have played an important role throughout UD’s history and continue to impact its future. Generations of legacy gifts from estates have allowed the university to expand geographically and academically, attracting a more diverse student population. Our reputation and our research are gaining recognition beyond our regional borders.

A member of UD’s Office of Gift Planning can present you with options to fulfill intentions that will benefit the area(s) meaningful to you, whether it is student assistance, research, campus beautification, or another area. Gifts of all amounts are welcome; specific thresholds exist for naming and endowment opportunities so please discuss these possibilities with a member of our team before finalizing your plans.

Please call the Office of Gift Planning at 302.831.6798 or email us to schedule a confidential conversation with one of our knowledgeable team members.
